FAQs
How to use it
Catch it early. Keep HushPup™ where the barking usually starts — the hallway, the window, the lead hook. The moment the ears go up, you're ready.
One press. A short burst is all it takes. You won't hear anything. Your dog will.
Wait for the pause. Most dogs stop and look around. That gap is the whole point — it's your window.
Redirect and reward. Call them over, ask for a sit, give the treat. You're not just stopping a bark, you're teaching what happens instead.
Rotate the modes. If your dog starts ignoring one tone after a couple of weeks, switch modes. That's the most common reason bark devices stop working, and it's a two-second fix.
Be boring about it. Same response, every time, for two weeks. Consistency is what makes it stick.

Is this right for my dog?
It works well for barking at the door, the window, the fence, passers-by, other dogs on walks, and over-excitement in the car. Any size, any breed.
It's designed for healthy dogs roughly 6 months to 8 years old with normal hearing.
Please don't use it if your dog has epilepsy, seizures, or any diagnosed neurological condition. Check with your vet first.
Two honest limitations:
1. It won't fix barking that happens while you're out. It's handheld and you press it, so it only helps with barking you're there for. If your dog's issue is separation-related, this is the wrong tool and we'd rather say so now.
2. Deaf and hearing-impaired dogs won't respond, and very old dogs often have reduced high-frequency hearing.
Sound-sensitive or anxious dogs: start on the lowest mode, from across the room, and watch how they take it. If they look worried rather than curious, stop and talk to us.
Our 30-night guarantee
30 nights to a quieter house.
Give it two weeks of consistent use. That's genuinely how long it takes — most owners notice a change well before then, but two weeks is when the habit sets.
If you've done that and the barking hasn't shifted, email us. We'll troubleshoot with you first, because nine times out of ten it's a timing fix and takes one message. If it still isn't working, send it back within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
What we need: proof of purchase, the device and its parts, and the request inside 30 days.
Return shipping: on us if it arrived faulty, damaged or wrong. On you if it simply didn't get results.
